Clyde W Malone School of Social Work Memorial Fellowship

Clyde Malone was a Nebraska native who graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Business Administration. After being in the workforce for several years, he returned to the Nebraska. He became employed at the Lincoln Urban League and once again enrolled at the University seeking his graduate degree in the School of Social Work. Mr. Malone was an active member in a variety of community organizations geared towards helping others. This scholarship commemorates Clyde’s life. Eligible candidates shall be graduate student fellowships pursuing a Masters degree in the School of Social Work, College of Public Affairs and Community Service. Additional criteria includes a desire to work in the area of Social Work within a community service environment, preference may be given to needy students, student performing community service work in Lincoln, NE or to students performing field placement work at the Malone Community Center in Lincoln, NE.
