Dorothy Peters Teacher Education Scholarship

The Dorothy Peters Teacher Education Scholarship Fund is awarded annually to undergraduate students in the Department of Teacher Education. Candidates must be pursuing a major in elementary education and have junior or senior class standing. Candidates must have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA and be graduates of a high school from Douglas or Sarpy County, Nebraska. Candidates must express a desire to pursue a career in the area of teaching kindergarten students and/or be pursuing a specialization in early childhood education following graduation from UNO.
