Nancy Keegan Miller GRAD Memorial Scholarship

The Nancy Keegan Miller Memorial Scholarship was funded by her husband to commemorate her life. Nancy was a native of Omaha and a graduate of Omaha Central High School and a graduate of Wellesley College. She was an accomplished linguist and a woman who was profoundly interested in international studies. Mrs. Miller worked for two years in Paris following World War II at the European Headquarters of the Marshall Plan. After returning to the US, she enjoyed tutoring at UNO with a particular interest working with students enrolled in Humanities classes. In some instances graduate students enrolled for 6 or more credit hours with an interest in International Studies may also be eligible.

The Nancy Keegan Miller Memorial Scholarship supports graduate programs of International Studies, or funds may be used to subsidize a trip abroad for an International Studies student to enhance his/her career objectives. Candidates must have a 3.5 GPA or higher to be eligible.
