NSF Scholarship for Service

The CyberCorps Scholarship For Service (SFS) hosted by the College of IS&T is a unique program designed to increase and strengthen the cadre of federal information assurance professionals that protect the government’s critical information infrastructure. This program provides scholarships that may fully fund the typical costs incurred by full-time undergraduate and graduate students while attending UNO, including tuition and related fees. Additionally, participants receive a monthly stipend. The scholarships are funded through grants awarded by the National Science Foundation. To be eligible for consideration for an SFS scholarship, a student must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States. In addition, a student must be one of the following: a full-time student within three years of graduation with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity.

Applications will be processed on a rolling basis as long as funds are available.
