NextGen Scholarship

Homelessness. Climate Change. Human Rights. Education. These complex challenges require leaders to work together and across sectors to find solutions. By bringing together corporate, government, nonprofit and military leaders, navigating these vexing challenges can happen through collaboration and cooperation.

The Next Generation Service Leadership (NGSL) and Cross-Sector Collaborative Leadership (CCL) Minor are one of the first leadership development programs that trains students from all majors to address these challenges. Students develop interdisciplinary networks and experience firsthand how collaboration among the public, private, nonprofit and military sectors can create meaningful change locally and globally.

Together, the NGSL and CCL minor provides a critical and marketable skill set that allows students to become transformational leaders in their fields and beyond.

Applicants to be considered may be incoming/new students and current UNO students who will begin the NextGen Service Leadership Program and Cross-sector Collaborative Leadership Minor starting Fall 2022.
